My wife was selling her car.

She asked me to write the ad.

So I did.

We ended up on the no.1 morning show, radio show and news site in the country.

THE AD

THE MEDIA

By making the front page of Australia's no.1 news site, news.com.au (est. 3.7 million unique visitors), appearing on the no.1 breakfast television show, Sunrise (est. 800,000 viewers) and being interviewed by the no.1 breakfast radio show, Kyle and Jackie O (approx. 6 million listeners), my humble $50 car ad racked up over 10 MILLION IMPRESSIONS. And that's only three of the many places it ended up. Run that through your CPM calculator.

THE OUTCOME

The car sold for 100% of the advertised price of $15,000. No negotiating necessary.

The market value on a 2011 Mazda 3 Maxx Sport is $10,000-$12,700.  That's 15%-33% above market value.

And all it took was about 30 minutes of creativity, and a $50 ad placement.
