After repeated requests from fans of @GovGoogles, I started a version of the account based on the one and only Donald Trump after his shock election win.
This time, I created the account on Instagram to give it a comedic visual.
I ended up creating a worldwide meme sensation that was followed by celebrities, actors, musicians, politicians and journos across the world.
It flung me in the middle of one of rap’s most notorious beefs, appeared in a Netflix documentary and was used in anti-government protests across the globe.
It was also shamelessly ripped off ad nauseam, but hey, that’s when you know you’re on to a good thing.
Unfortunately the account was mysteriously banned and deleted by Instagram. Read into that what you will.
THE 50 CENT INCIDENT
The account has been followed, liked and reposted by celebrities before, but nothing quite like 'the 50 Cent incident'.
While Trump was still struggling to pull together his cabinet of inexperienced muppets, Ja Rule's Fyre Festival catastrophe unfolded. I posted a Trump Google that said 'appoint ja rule secretary of festivals' for a laugh.
Shortly after doing so my phone began to absolutely erupt. I couldn't figure out what had happened until a follower sent me a DM with a screenshot.
50 Cent had posted the meme, and it was spreading across the internet like wildfire.
If you google '50 cent ja rule fyre', or something similar, you'll find articles about the meme in Billboard, XXL and Complex to name a few.
And that's how I got dragged into one of hip hop's most infamous beefs by making a meme about Donald Trump.
THE AMERICAN MEME
In 2019, Netflix ran a doco called ‘The American Meme’, centered around infamous internet personality and rampant content thief, Josh Ostrovsky, aka ‘The Fat Jew’.
I won’t delve too deep, but this dude has ripped off my work a number of times, and funnily enough while watching the ‘The American Meme’ what should appear?

CULTURAL IMPACT
I should’ve done a better job at saving these, as there were many more, but the ‘Trump Google’ meme made numerous appearances at various rallies and protests throughout the world. ‘Going viral’ for is all well and good, but this, this right here, is the fucking best.
